Topfine New Materials Granted a New Invention Patent

Recently, Topfine New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Inter-China Chemical, was officially granted an invention patent titled “Evaluation Method for the Effective Amount of Hydrolysis Seed Crystals” by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.

This patent falls within the titanium dioxide production technology field. It provides a scientific basis for controlling the dosage of hydrolysis seed crystals in TiO₂ manufacturing through precise evaluation of their effective amount.

The invention relates to a method for evaluating the effective amount of hydrolysis seed crystals in TiO₂ production. The process includes:

  • S1:Preparing a hydrolysis seed crystal solution and measuring its titanium concentration (C);
  • S2:Mixing a measured volume (V) of the solution with an acid solution, allowing it to settle until stable stratification occurs, then measuring the volume (V₁) and titanium concentration (C₁) of the upper clear liquid;
  • S3:Calculating the effective amount of hydrolysis seed crystals using the formula: C × V − C₁ × V₁.

This method effectively separates excess titanium solution from the hydrolysis seed crystal solution, enabling accurate evaluation of the actual effective amount. It significantly aids in controlling the dosage of hydrolysis seed crystals during TiO₂ production, thereby improving yield.

As a core subsidiary of Inter-China Chemical Co., Ltd., Topfine New Materials has been deeply engaged in titanium dioxide materials for many years. The granting of this patent further enriches the company’s intellectual property portfolio and strengthens its technological innovation foundation. Guided by an innovation-driven development strategy, Topfine New Materials continues to advance toward its goal of providing customers with superior products and services while contributing to the sustainable growth of the industry.
