Our Approach to Sustainability
Inter-China Chemical approaches sustainability through responsible product development, documented management systems, operational improvement and transparent technical communication. Our priorities are aligned with the practical environmental, safety, quality and resource-efficiency requirements of titanium-material development and supply.
ICC focuses on measurable improvements within its own operations and product-development activities. Sustainability claims are evaluated according to the relevant product, facility, process and available supporting documentation.
Management Systems and External Recognition
ICC and its group companies maintain management and evaluation activities covering product quality, environmental responsibility, occupational health and safety, laboratory competence and corporate social responsibility.
- EcoVadis Silver Medal received in 2025
- ISO 9001 quality management system recertification completed in 2025
- Environmental and occupational health and safety management system audits completed across relevant operations
- Product carbon-footprint certification obtained in 2024
- CNAS and CMA laboratory accreditation supporting traceable testing and product qualification
Certificates and supporting documentation may be provided for relevant customer qualification requirements, subject to document availability and applicable confidentiality controls.

Sustainability Priorities

ICC focuses its sustainability efforts on responsible product and process development, environmental compliance, resource efficiency, employee health and safety, product quality and traceability, and ethical business conduct.
Our titanium-material development activities consider product efficiency, durability, consistency and practical operating conditions.
- Infrared-reflective titanium dioxide for passive solar heat-management applications
- Titanium-based adsorbents and ion-exchange materials for lithium-recovery processes
- High-purity titanium materials for impurity-sensitive applications
- Application testing and qualification to support appropriate material selection
- Process development focused on consistency, material utilization and industrial scale-up
The environmental performance of a final product or process depends on its complete formulation, operating conditions, energy source, system design and life-cycle boundaries. ICC therefore avoids applying one general sustainability claim to every product or customer application.

ICC applies documented procedures for quality control, laboratory testing, workplace safety and operational management across relevant business activities. Responsibilities are coordinated among R&D, testing, manufacturing, commercial and administrative functions.
Continuous improvement is supported through internal reviews, external audits, equipment and process upgrades, employee training and corrective-action procedures. Product information, technical documentation and applicable safety information are maintained to support responsible handling and customer qualification.
Environmental Management and Continuous Improvement
Environmental-management activities focus on process control, resource use, energy efficiency, emissions, wastewater, solid waste and responsible material handling within the scope of each relevant operation.
ICC and its group companies use monitoring, documented procedures, management-system audits and process improvement to identify risks and evaluate corrective or preventive actions. Priorities are reviewed according to applicable regulatory requirements, facility conditions and development objectives.
We will continue improving the quality and availability of product-specific environmental information as supporting data, certification and customer requirements develop.
