Inter-China Testing Successfully Passes Two CNAS Proficiency Testing Programs

Recently, Inter-China Testing & Technology Co., Ltd. successfully passed two proficiency testing (PT) programs organized by Beijing Zhongshi Guojin International Laboratory Proficiency Testing Research Co., Ltd., achieving “satisfactory” results in both:

  • Particle Size Analysis (Laser Diffraction Method)(NIL(2025)PT-5310-028)
  • Determination of the Melt Mass-Flow Rate (MFR) of Thermoplastic Plastics(NIL PT-5230).

This once again demonstrates the company’s professional technical capabilities and leading position in the field of materials testing.

In the Particle Size Analysis (Laser Diffraction Method) project (NIL(2025)PT-5310-028), Inter-China Testing’s rigorous procedures and advanced equipment ensured that test results were highly consistent with the robust mean, successfully passing the proficiency test. Project engineer Tian Chenyi explained:

“The test results were very well aligned with the robust mean. Particle size has a fundamental optical impact on titanium dioxide products: when the primary particle size is smaller than 0.25 μm, the pigment reflects more blue light, giving a bluish tone; when it exceeds 0.25 μm, scattering of red and green light increases, resulting in a yellowish tone. Research has shown that at around 0.2 μm, titanium dioxide achieves optimal whiteness, tinting strength, and hiding power. In applications, particle size combined with the pigment volume concentration of TiO₂ significantly affects the color of paints. Many color-matching issues arise from ignoring TiO₂ particle size. Moreover, a narrower particle size distribution results in smoother coating surfaces and higher gloss.”

In the Melt Mass-Flow Rate (MFR) of Thermoplastic Plastics project (NIL PT-5230), plastics lab engineer Xu Cheng noted:

“This test was conducted in strict accordance with the latest GB/T3682.1-2018 standard. Since MFR measurements are influenced by factors such as molecular weight, temperature, and cutting time, the team carefully selected the optimal test conditions based on the sample’s characteristics. After repeated verification, the results fell within a reasonable margin of error, achieving a satisfactory outcome.”

The successful completion of these two proficiency testing programs affirms both the technical competence and quality management system of Inter-China Testing. Looking ahead, the company will continue to deepen its expertise in testing technology, drive methodological innovation, and enhance service capabilities—helping clients address quality control challenges while contributing to standardization and high-quality development across the industry.
