Recently, Topfine New Materials Co., Ltd. and Gangfeng New Materials Co., Ltd., subsidiaries of Inter-China Chemical, jointly applied for an invention patent titled “A Salt Lake Brine Circulation Lithium Extraction Process and Device,” which has been granted by the National Intellectual Property Administration.
This invention utilizes a weak acid as a desorbing agent coupled with a salt lake brine lithium extraction device. By controlling the flow rate of the lithium-rich solution and the current density of electrodialysis, it achieves cyclic desorption, improves current efficiency, and can directly produce lithium hydroxide. The weak acid can be recycled, solving the transportation issue of acids in high-altitude areas and avoiding environmental pollution caused by acid discharge. The invention is characterized by its stable process, easy operation, high production efficiency, low energy consumption, and environmental friendliness.
To date, Inter-China Chemical and its subsidiaries have been granted 21 patents, including 19 invention patents.
