High-purity titanium dioxide is a critical material in modern electronics manufacturing. In many electronics-related processes, material purity, phase stability, and batch consistency directly affect performance and yield. As a result, demand for electronic-grade TiO₂ continues to grow.
To address this need, Inter-China Chemical is launching a new industrial production line dedicated to electronic-grade rutile titanium dioxide. This project focuses on stable supply, controlled quality, and long-term scalability.
Industrial-Scale Production with 20,000 t/y Capacity

The Phase I production line is designed for an annual capacity of 20,000 tonnes. This capacity marks a clear move from small-scale production to full industrial manufacturing.
Unlike pilot or specialty lines, this facility operates with continuous production logic. It enables consistent quality control and supports long-term supply programs. In addition, the scale allows customers to plan qualification and commercialization with confidence.
Therefore, the project provides a solid foundation for electronics manufacturers that require stable and repeatable material performance.
High-Purity Rutile TiO₂ Designed for Electronics Use
This electronic-grade titanium dioxide is based on a high-purity rutile structure. The product targets applications where conventional pigment-grade TiO₂ does not meet technical requirements.
Typical electronics-related applications include:
-
Electronic and functional ceramics
-
Dielectric and insulating materials
-
Electronic substrates and precision fillers
-
Specialized coatings used in electronics manufacturing
In these applications, impurity control and structural stability are essential. For this reason, the product development emphasizes purity, reproducibility, and industrial consistency.
Production Line Launch and Commissioning Timeline
The industrial line is scheduled to launch in February 2026. Commissioning will take place in structured stages to ensure stable operation and reliable output.
During this period, the production team will verify process parameters and quality controls under real operating conditions. As a result, all technical data will reflect actual industrial performance rather than theoretical targets.
Progressive Release of Product Specifications
Product details and technical specifications will be released progressively after line commissioning. This approach allows customers to access data based on validated production results.
Released information will include:
-
Chemical purity and trace impurity levels
-
Phase composition and structural characteristics
-
Particle-related parameters relevant to processing
-
Application-oriented performance indicators
In addition, this staged disclosure ensures transparency while maintaining technical reliability.
Supporting Reliable Supply for Advanced Electronics Manufacturing
With a Phase I capacity of 20,000 tonnes per year, this project represents a key step toward industrial-scale supply of electronic-grade titanium dioxide. It supports electronics manufacturers that require consistent quality and dependable availability.
Further updates will follow as commissioning progresses and additional technical data becomes available.
